PPP Candidate Battles For Survival After Shooting Incident

KWADWO AMOATENG, a Progressive People’s Party (PPP) 2016 parliamentary claimant for Offinso South in a Ashanti Region, is struggling for his life after he was allegedly shot by some suspected armed robbers in his house.

The robbers reportedly had laid waylay in a PPP parliamentary candidate’s residence during Offinso, while he (Amoateng) was during work on Thursday, and they non-stop glow during him when he returned home around 8pm.

The robbers, who were fully-armed, asked Mr Amoateng to obey a income on him and before he could even complete a word, they shot during him several times and absconded with his bag containing money.

The PPP parliamentary claimant was rushed to a St Patrick Hospital during Offinso and was after referred to a Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital (KATH) due to a concern of his injuries.
